When the library became a community resource in 2011, the "Friends" scheme was launched.This was seen as a means of providing a stable income for the library. Each Friend pays a minimum membership fee of £10 per annum. Their contribution to our financial security amounts to around 15% of our annual income and provides a solid platform for our finances each year.
Friends of the library have an important role in our governance, making decisions at our AGM over our way forward, regulations and management.
